Works are progressing well at 1 Moulsecoomb Way in Brighton, a student housing led mixed-use scheme for our client McLaren Property.

The scheme will comprise 380 bedrooms, 1100m2 of office/retail units, and a 250m2 community space. This stylish, sustainable building has been designed to achieve a BREEAM excellent rating. It is located within walking distance of Brighton’s two main universities and close to local bus and rail networks. There will be provision for electric car parking.

Earthworks and groundworks are now complete, concrete slab is on to the second floor, brickwork is starting with scaffolding going up in the next few weeks. Piling, cranage and plant have all been delivered using HG Construction’s internal capabilities.
