Collaboration is the foundation to successful project delivery.

Through early engagement with our clients and the involvement of design teams and the supply chain, we gain a comprehensive understanding of your visions and how these can be best brought to life. A collaborative approach based on value engineering, buildability reviews and de-risking ensures optimum, high quality solutions for our clients, on time and on budget.

IN-HOUSE CAPABILITIES

HG Construction’s significant investment into the development of in-house services means we have far greater control over project cost, quality and programme. We are directly delivering key packages across our schemes including M&E, cranes, concrete frames, piling and utility pods, mitigating the risk of external third parties and generating significant advantages for our clients.

SAFETY BY CHOICE, NOT BY CHANCE

This is our front-of-mind campaign to collectively empower all of our people, sub-contractors and stakeholders to work together as one 'safety first' team, considering risk and reviewing all aspects of the way we do things, so that we can make continuous improvements.

02
environmental

Accredited to the ISO 14001 Standard and working towards Planetmark, HG is an environmentally-conscientious and responsible contractor. We deliver under the remit of our Environmental Management System with robust KPI targets including carbon, waste management and recycling to BREEAM Standards. Working collaboratively with our supply chain partners, we procure ethically and sustainably with a major focus on localism across our schemes. We embrace and encourage Modern Methods of Construction such as off-site manufacturing solutions to generate significantly less waste and environmental impact in delivery and far more energy efficient, lower carbon buildings.

In a move to greater sustainability, 80% of our car fleet is now pure electric and Brompton Bikes are available for staff travel.

03
Quality

HG’s ISO 9001 Integrated Management System sets the benchmark for all our processes, ensuring high standards from project inception through to post completion aftercare, review and lessons learned. Our culture of zero defects and soft landings are key drivers with early stage and an ongoing collaborative team effort to ensure quality, design, value engineering and buildability. This integrated HG, client, design and supply chain approach leads to realistic and best value solutions with each HG scheme delivered to high standards, sustainably and fit-for-purpose, with end-users, maintenance and running costs considered from the start.
